Dunphy Boat

Most likely the only one left in existance. I've researched for years and no one has ever seen one. Been in our family for 40 years. A full mechanical restoration as well as new interior has been done. Dunphy company went bankrupt in 1965 and everything auctioned off. Someone bought everything and tried to restart the company but instead of building wood boats, used the patterns and went to fiberglass. This boat was modeled from the X55 style which was quite famous for it's speed. From what i found out only a handfull reached production. Has a Buick 340 v8 that Buick produced from 66-67 years. Velvet drive transmission. Gel coat is all original, stringers are all solid. New carburetor was installed a "Holley" and really runs excellent! Fully tuned up etc. New automatic bilge pump. Trailer is in excellent shape to tow it anywhere. Title in hand. It's a real piece of boating history unlike anything out there. I'm located an hour west of Milwaukee or two hours northwest of Chicago.
