Dorsett

This is a 1959 dorsett 14 foot boat that my dad bought new,I measure somewhere between 14 and 15 ft.we all learned to ski behind it, it has always been garaged, the original engine was a 35 horse Scott, it would not hardly get out of its own way, in 65 or 66 dad bought the 65 horse mercury. It spent most of the last 40 years with a trolling motor , the big motor only fired up to get back to the landing, I put fresh mixed non alcohol; fuel in it and it runs great, I does not have a battery in it, the gell coat above the rubber bumper strip is in shiny shape, the boat below the rubber bumper was repainted in the 80s and it is worn etc, the red and silver side decals are scarred up as the pictures show, the rubber bumper is not rotted, because it was stored inside, It has full snap on covers for the inside of the boat, they are old, a couple snaps are bad and the side curtain clear vinyl has yellowed. the red carpet on the floor is just sitting there. The boat has a clear title, the Holsclaw trailer, never had a title, just a bill of sale. this is a great boat to have fun with or restore it and pull behind your vintage vehicle.
