This is a well-performing, comfortable, and timeless performance powerboat produced by Donzi. The Minx was made between 1986 and 1988 model Years. This is hull #154. The color combo (honey and blue) is original to the boat, and period-specific to this particular vintage.

In 2016, the 350ci/260hp motor was replaced with a 383ci custom, high-performance motor built by quality marine builder in Knoxville Tennessee area. The intake, exhaust, carburetor, and heads from the 350 motor were used on the 383 long block. The heads were reworked by White Performance during the engine build, and the 550 cfm Holley carburetor has been rebuilt. With this combination, the motor is producing approximately 300hp at the prop (60mph at 4800 rpm). The motor was built with quality performance parts to accomplish up to 450hp, so an update to the heads, intake, and exhaust systems will increase performance significantly.

The trailer, cockpit cover, stereo system, steering wheel (including hub and cable), fuel lines, and shift/throttle cables (shifter/throttle to outdrive) are new within the last 4 years.

Though not without minor blemishes this Donzi is turn-key and well above par for a period-correct high-performance powerboat. This boat has been serviced regularly and on schedule by a certified marine mechanic since it has been in the current owners care. Included in the sale comes an additional working Cobra outdrive, shift cables, several props, a spare battery, and a full boat cover.

The Last 4 Pictures show how a Minx looks in the water and under power. Notice the difference in last picture between the Minx pictured on the left and the Donzi Classic 22 on the right to show how much higher freeboard the Minx has over the Classic 22. One reason we feel the Minx Model handles rougher water better and is dryer than most any other 20-24 foot boats even including the infamous 22 Classic. Have additional pictures available.
