I am selling this boat as-is. The boat is left hand drive, which is rare. It would sell between $30,000-$40,000 new. The seats are in good shape. With the Bravo drive, the boat handles beautifully, with the deep V hull, cuts right through the waves and is a ton of fun to drive!. The propeller is a 23 pitch and used, but think a 27 pitch is what it needs with the 454.
I bought the boat in 2010 and fixed it up, but only put 4 hours on the 454 BB. Below is all the work I put into it not including all the minor things. Since I co-own this boat with a friend, we have decided to sell it, otherwise I would keep it.
The entire boat has been re-wired.
New steering wheel, steering assembly, and cable.
New throttle assembly.
Replaced the re-built Volvo drive with a re-built Mercury Bravo One drive with trim button controls.
Replaced the 351 Windsor newly built motor with 454 Big Block Chevy.
Added gauge cluster for voltage, water temp, oil pressure, fuel, and RPM. New windshield, and many small items have been replaced. Fuel fill hose, entire electrical system, everything in engine compartment, re-rigged for 454 BB, all Mercruiser parts were used for engine upgrade.
The boat also comes with the Volvo Drive and 351 Windsor Motor that came with the boat when I purchased it.
All the wiring on the boat has been labeled with a label maker for easy reference.
Has anti-fouling on bottom, but it does not seem to hinder the performance of the boat.
Needs new carpet installed. I removed the old carpet due to it being in bad shape when I bought the boat.
Disclosure: The big block setup has no exhaust and needs MSD ignition controller (items not included with sale). Was using over transom pipes, but was only borrowing them from a friend (over transom pipes also not included with sale). The raw water pump failed and ended up overheating the 454. It needs to be inspected. There is water entering cylinder 4 after use. The engine runs perfectly with all the horsepower. There is no water mixing with the oil.
The dash was newly shaved from the previous owner, and they said that it needs very little work. I have not put any work into it. The front seat mount needs to be re-installed as I was using a different front seat.
The Windsor is a 351 bore and stroked to 406. Has Roush racing heads with a .549 lift. Only has 5 hours on it. Original owner did not break in the motor properly, so the rings did not seat and some of the mains spun. Crank has light surface scratches and can be easily re-polished. Includes a vintage Competition Proven marine engine book for 302/351. I have a very comprehensive binder of all the work that was done to the boat from the original purchase date to when the Windsor was installed.
