Donzi 22 Classic

This listing is for a clean iconic 1994 Donzi 22 Classic. Boat is in overall good shape. Motor runs strong. We are the third owners. Boat was originally bought in Oklahoma by a Donzi rep. The docking lights were installed as an option. He then sold the boat to an individual that lived in Austin, Texas. We purchased the boat in 2008 and it has been here in Alabama since then. This Classic has been stored inside. Boat has seen mostly fresh water. It was taken out in brackish water twice but thoroughly rinsed out afterwards. There are small knicks, chips and scratches in the fiberglass and rub rail but nothing that compromises the structural integrity of the boat. This model does not have wooden stringers so that will not be an issue. The following are improvements that were made to the boat:1.) Lenco Electric Trim Tabs with Indicators (replaced hydraulic units) ($2400)2.) Dual Optima Battery Setup with battery selector3.) Complete Dash Overhaul styled after 009 Special Edition 22 Classic (Livorsi Gauges, Depth meter, Custom Carbon Fiber Dash from Donzi Direct and Italian Steering Wheel from Donzi Direct) Over $6000 Spent on dash project. All professionally installed by Harris Performance out of Dadeville, AL.4.) Dana Billet Shifter (much better than the plastic unit it came with)5.) Clarion Stereo headunit6.) Windshield replaced with Lexan (2014)Engine is bone stock and runs really well (Mercruiser 454 Magnum/Bravo 1 outdrive). The motor is carbureted (not fuel injected). There is no hour meter on the boat. Exhaust is through-hull and pretty loud but awesome! Impeller has been changed yearly along with engine fluids. This boat comes with a cockpit cover and full cover. The pictures were taken without the carpet installed. Carpet mats snap in and are grey in color. Trailer was overhauled shortly after we bought the boat in 2008. New jack was installed on the trailer along with the surge brake system. Bunks were done on the trailer as well. Tires are in pretty good shape. They were also purchased back when we purchased the boat.The only thing this boat really needs is to have the rub rail replaced and the chips in the fiberglass fixed. Majority of the chips were there before we purchased the boat. The individual that had it pulled it out once or twice a year and lacked docking skills. If we were to keep the boat, this is the only other thing we would have done. We are selling this 22 Classic to purchase a center console for off shore fishing.
