Custom Runabout

NO RESERVE! This is a classic wood boat that I bought a couple years ago. I have enjoyed it on the water here but up to my purchasing it it was in a barn in Ada, MI covered with dust. I do have it registered and it has a trailer that goes with. The hull and transom are solid. The interior is in good shape and the exterior could use just a little sanding and touch up before it is put back in the water. If you aren't too fussy it is ready to go. I put over $500 into the outboard (1958 Johnson 40hp) last year with new hoses, filter, and a full tune up at a professional marina/boat dealer.I don't know the brand but in discussions with wood boat folks it sounds like it was a 1950's era Chris Craft kit boat. I really have no idea...to me it is a neat old boat with some of the characteristics of the wooden runabouts that I have admired. It is for sale locally and buyer is expected to pick up. Non refundable deposit required upon sale of vessel.I have posted pictures for a wood boat forum and it seems to generate a lot of interest. The "twin" transom is extremely unique.
