Description: 

I built this boat in 2015 using B&B Yacht Design Marissa plans, CNC-cut mahogany marine plywood and fiberglass/epoxy. All wood is encapsulated in fiberglass/epoxy. The boat design is a Wooden Boat Magazine award winner. Article can be found here: http://bandbyachtdesigns.com/marissa/.

This boat is designed for efficiency and is very lightweight. (24 mph cruise/ 2 GPH (12 MPG), 26 mph max). It is presently powered with a 2015 Yamaha F40LA 4-stroke outboard with less than 34 hours but is rated for up to 60 hp. The outboard has electric start and power trim and tilt.
