Up for auctionis a 1989 custom built fiberglass raceboat, length appr. 28'. It was converted from twin I/O to twin outboard Mercury high performance in the early 2000s in Florida. The previous owner shipped it to Germany where I bought it in 2008 and had to repower it due to local noise restrictions. In 2011 I bought two used 2005 Yamaha 250 hp 4 stroke fresh water engines on 25" shafts with 220 hrs. on them. I moved to the USA in 2013 and took the boat with me before hooking the engines up properly and so they were never run on the boat. The hydraulic steering was not connected and the hydraulic engine bracket needs a wider plate to carry the larger engines. The boat comes with a 100 gal aluminum tank, anchor, long hydraulic trim tabs, engine lift and hydraulic steering (matching the former engines) and all Gaffrig gauges (engine, tabs), bezels, throttles. The Yamaha engines come with all electric wiring, cables, throttles, gauges and SS counter rotating props. Boat is in dry but open storage covered with a tarp and sits on an aluminum twin axle trailer. Over the years there was mold build up and some cushions were damaged - as was the paint of the hull. Most of it can be taken care of by cleaning but I nevertheless post it as a project boat. The engines sufferd minor damage at the skegs during the shipping, see detail pics. I have a clean Michigan title for the boat and a MI registration for the trailer.
