This vessel has been donated to our Non-profit Organization STREETWAVES in an effort to help raise funds for a new surf van. We are an ocean mentorship program for under-resourced youth in South Florida please visit -->ioby.org/project/streetwaves<-- to learn more about our fundraiser.
This vessel has been observed by members of our organization and upon inspection at the dock only our findings were that the vessel would make an excellent live-aboardcruiser but would require some work and extensive cleaning. Donor states that the engine should start as it has been professionally maintained over the years.

Historic Information provided by Donor::
- Built in 1969. Historic boat originally built for and owned by the Pillsbury family.Later in its life used in the Cuban Mariel boatlift. Then seized by the US government and auctioned off. Subsequently bought from that owner in 1986. At some point it was named Crown Jewel (we placed that name on the forward port wall in the engine room) and we renamed the vessel. We rewired and rehabbed the whole vessel personally and have owned it since then. Used for family adventures in the Bahamas every year (usually 2 months at a time). Usually gets hauled about every 2-3 years, barnacles scraped, zincs replaced, and bottom repainted.
