It is a replica of the high-performance Gold Cup Racer of 1928. It is as beautiful as it is simple.......and fast. It's current owner says, "it parts the water like nothing I've ever seen, the dead-rise is so ridiculous, you couldn't bounce it if you tried."The 1967 Chevy big block is clean enough to eat off and shines almost as brightly as its Mahogany and stainless exterior. The engine compartment lifts on both sides for easy and ample access. Its gas pedal makes throttling as simple as an automobile. Dual custom exhausts in port and starboard hull are located behind the helm. Its dual-ended design is the single greatest indentifying feature of the era. This writer hasn't much to say because this one is a must-see.
