Ok here's the deal. In 2007 we bought a million dollar boat. She is absolutely gorgeous and one of only 26 ever made. The short story is that we now live in Panama most of the year and like most people don't use our boat as much as we should. Last year we were off the dock a total of 2 days. This is crazy. We really don't want to sell our beautiful boat but she really needs to get used. So, we have decided to offer two 1/3 ownership interests to the right person/ people for $250,000 each. Why buy some inferior boat for $250k when you can own this magnificent vessel for the same investment? The key here is that the people that buy an interest must be compatible. The goal is for everyone to enjoy this beautiful boat and get along in harmony. If you are a drama queen or pompous ass then please move along, there is nothing to see. My initial idea is that each owner gets exclusive right to the boat in 2 week increments. Party one gets 2 weeks then party 2 gets 2 weeks, then party 3 gets 2 weeks, and so on. That said, ( and this is where the "right people" comes in) if it's my 2 weeks and you want to use it and I am out of country then go for it. If it's your 2 weeks and you have no intent to use her, then you should reciprocate. I am looking for 3 owners that can get along, be mutually accommodating and not worry if they spent 50 cents more than the other guy. We split all maintenance and upkeep, 1/3 each. You can pay cash or financing is available. If you are still interested here are the detailsThe boat is a 2007 Cruisers Yachts 497 with less than 500 hours on her!! She is a bit over 50 feet long with a 15 foot beam and a 4 foot draft. Powered by twin Volvo D9 575 HP diesels she can reach speeds of 30 knots, which is great if you are trying to out run a weather front. Most of the time we cruise at about 10 knots for fuel economy. We have had her out in gale force winds with water over the bridge at 19 feet so we know she is seaworthy. This boat is fully equipped and turn key with every option necessary for long term and offshore cruising. Inside passage and Alaska are a walk in the park. We spared no expense and spent over $80,000 in additional equipment. We are fresh water moored in the Snohomish River. What a blessing that is! No marine growth and the zincs last forever!! If you are an accomplished captain no problem; if you need some help learning to handle her, I'll be glad to spend some time with you to get you comfortable.2 staterooms2 heads2 showersComplete galley w/ refrigerator.
