I have had a ball with this boat! Everywhere you go people are giving the "thumbs up" and waving. First the good stuff. Engine is a 50 horsepower Mercury four cylinder outboard. I had the man who was head of the Mercury test division for thirty years gothrewit. Obvious low hour engine that runs great. Starts easy, shifts smooth, jumps the boat to plane. The boat itself is in need of restoration if your a purist, but I used it as is and didn't lose sleep if I got a scratch in it. A raccoon lived in it once upon a time and chewed the end of some of the stringers off. Some of the wood is soft and rotten. I did what I could to make it look nice and have some fun. Takes the waves great and didn't break on me and I live on a 960 acre lake 105 feet deep. So if you want to have some reliable vintage fun, or would like a great restoration project, here it is.
