Up for sale is a classic 1964 Crownline 15 foot fiberglass ski boat. This boat was bought new by Leo Conner in 1964 at the factory in Onarga Illinois. It has been in our family all it's life. It has never been left outside. It was completely cleaned and rebuilt in 2012. This boat is completely original from the motor, paint, fixtures, windshield, and the fold down seats. The only items that were replaced was the carpet and the transom. The wood tansom was rotten so it was completely removed and replaced with Seacast. This transom is very solid and should outlast the boat. This boat is not perfect. It has normal scratches and patina for it's age since I didn't sand it down and repaint it. This boat turns heads and gets compliments every time we take it out.
The motor is a 1965 75.2 hp McCulloch long shaft. Boat was bought new in 64' with a 50 hp McCulloch and that was traded for a 75 hp in 65'. McCulloch stopped making motors in 1967-68. You can still find parts for them from private dealers. The motor was completely torn down and rebuilt in 2012. It runs good for it's age maxing out at @ 32 mph. I did not replace the carburetors but cleaned them the best I could. It is a 3 cylinder motor with 3 carbs with electronic choke, electric start, and two props. I have the complete McCulloch users manual and parts manual for it.Trailer is an Airbouy tilt trailer built in Quincy Il. It is original with the boat. It has new tires, LED lights, paint and a spare tire.I am selling because we have 3 kids and would like a bigger boat and I don't have room for two. Boat must be picked up in Springfield, IL 62712.
