Selling my 2006 Crownline CR250. Dont have many pics, its wrapped, in storage and tough to show in winter. It will be going on Marinemax.com in about 6-8 weeks, and i wanted to take a shot at selling myself, being more flexible on price, and not paying broker fees. I have owned this boat for 3.5 years, bought it used in 2011, I used it in summers of 12,13,14 on Long Island sound(has 290 original hours). The boat had a perfect sea test and report(i still have it) when i bought it, but still needed work by my standards, and I put A LOT of work into it. Im now basically selling a brand new and perfectly working boat. My work includes, and I have paperwork from a certified Merc dealer for ALL of it:-Brand new Mercury 383 MAG Stroker w 350 HP (boat came with 350 MAG, ended up having a crack in the block due to previous owner not winterizing properly) Motor has 65 hours, paid $17,000 installed brand new. There is a big diff between the 350 and 383, boat hops right up on plane, and handles much better with weight on board.-Rebuilt Merc Bravo III outdrive ($3200). Outdrive has approx 120 hours on it.-3 brand new Optima Marine batteries (I added a 3rd battery to support running the new stereo system, tv/dvd, and fridge for extended amount of time out on the water)-Sony Stereo system with JBL Amp and 4 Polk speakers, all professionally installed, $2500 (system is LOUD and sounds amazing out on the water)-Complete new charging system to push the 3 batteries and make sure they are always fully charged ($700)-Vantage Trailer, 2012 model, purchased new for $3600-Brand new Exterior carpet from Crownline ($500)-Brand new electric stove range ($600, original had a chip in the glass and annoyed me)-A set of refurbed Merc Bravo III props that are in perfect condition ($1100)The boat has all the standard amenities that a 2006 250CR has, and is in EXCELLENT condition... galley with microwave, range, fridge(keeps beers ice cold and can fit more than a 30 pack), sink. Previous Owner installed Sharp LCD screen and DVD player, Garmin GPS, and VHF high range Radio, all in perfect working order. Im super anal about everything working on this boat, and EVERYTHING works. Every gauge, every switch, every light shines bright... everything! Why am i selling... I work in Manhattan and have very little time to boat, last summer i only did about 35 hours, and it just sat there. Also, i cant lie, boating gets expensive, and if you dont find yourself using it almost every weekend, and you are paying $5000 for a slip, its just not worth it.*If you are searching in the CT/NY/LI/NJ area you will notice this same EXACT boat at Diamond Marine, in a 2007 model for $44,000. Same exact boat, same exact trailer, and my boat has over 100 less hours, and I have a brand new upgraded motor. I have also uploaded the NADA Value in the pics, you can see that LOW retail is $44,530. Nada is what banks and insurance agencies use across the country when issuing loans and insurance. Whoever ends up with my boat is getting a steal. Im negotiable, because like i mentioned, it going to Marine Max soon, and they will whack me with 10% broker fee upon sale. They would like sell around $40k, I would net around $36k.All this boat needs is a bottom paint touch-up, a good detailing(always needs one after sitting wrapped for the winter), and you are ready for a great 2015 boating season!
