We bought our Crownline CCR 225 new in 1996 as a leftover 1995 from an Orlando, Florida dealers inventory. Named High Steppa by our granddaughter and with many day and overnight trips up the St.Johns river, along the Gulf off the coast of Bradenton and Sarasota, along the inter coastal and cruising fresh water lakes, we have regrettably decided the time has come to sell the High Steppa. Hurricanes left our boat undamaged but trapped by debris for several years before it could be moved and assessed.Once we could reach it, neglect caused by inaccessibility has taken its toll. Due to time constraints, a lack of a workshop, a garage or a place protected from the elements of weather, we realize we can no longer pursue our dream of rebuilding it. Even though it hasnt been started in a few years, its propelled by a Merc Cruiser Magnum 350 V-8 with (I think) 275 horsepower. The engine alone is probably worth what were asking for the whole package! This boat is perfect for the person who wants to make a comparably small monetary investment along with a dedicated effort to overhaul and refurbish it. With patience and perseverance, at the end your labor will be rewarded with an excellent handling, riding, and stable boat that can tow skiers, float at anchor while fishing, swimming, take a local cruise or embark on a great adventure. Its done it all and with some labor, can be ready to do it again! We were in the midst of taking the interior apart to replace flooring in the cockpit so the pictures display sections of the upholstery along with images of the boat and trailer. *Note the image of the rear seat back cushion showing one half soiled and the other cleaned up. All it took to make it look great was mold and mildew remover coupled with elbow grease! This is a project and is being sold as is with no guarantees or warranties of any kind. The price is $????? or best offer.
