COOL OLD VINTAGE 1957 18 FT CRESTLINER VOYAGER , ON TANDEM AXLE TRAILER , WITH A 1961-62 EVINRUDE LARK III . THE BOAT LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL IN EVERY WAY, BUT I AM NOT A VINTAGE BOAT EXPERT . LOOK AT THE PICS TO SEE EQUIPMENT AND CONDITION . I RECENTLY TOWED THE TRAILER 73 MILES WITH NO PROBLEMS AND THE LIGHTS FUNCTIONED PROPERLY . THE BOAT HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL FRAMING FOR THE SEATS . IT LOOKS LIKE THE WOOD AND CUSHIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED . IT HAS A CRANK UP WINCH TO OPERATE THE FRONT ANCHOR WHICH GOES THROUGH A PORT IN THE BOW . IT HAS A KICKER MOTOR BRACKET WHICH WILL PROBABLY NEED REPAIRED BEFORE I WOULD HANG A OUTBOARD ON IT . WIND SHIELD IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND THE ORIGINAL WING WINDOWS ARE STILL FUNCTIONAL.IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE REPLACED THE HORN IT HAS A NEWER ELECTRIC HORN BUT MOUNT IS STILL THE OLD ONE READY TO PUT A OLD ONE BACK ON . I FILLED THE BOTTOM OF THE BOAT ABOUT 4 INCHES WITH WATER IT HAS NO LEAKS . THE BOAT WAS USED SOME IN 2014 BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER . I PUT FRESH GAS IN THE MOTOR AND IT FIRED UP AND I RAN IT FOR A COUPLE MINUTES . IT HAS 120 LBS COMPRESSION + OR - 5 LBS FOR GAUGE ERROR . SEE PICTURES OF COMPRESSION GAUGE . I WOULD RECOMEND YOU SERVICE THE MOTOR AND INSTALL A NEW WATER PUMP AS IN ANY OLD MOTOR . I AM A 1980 GRAD OF AMERICAN MARINE INSTITUTE AND DO A LOT OF BOAT REPAIRS ON FIBERGLASS AND ALUMINUM BOATS , BUT NEVER ON OLD ANTIQUE ONES . I WILL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS . THE TRANSOM IS IN NICE ORIGINAL SHAPE THE ONLY WORK IT MIGHT NEED WOULD BE THE KICKER BRACKET . STEERING IS COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL WITH THE ORIGINAL CRESTLINER WHEEL . NORMALLY I TEAR THE LID OFF THESE AND MAKE BIG OPEN FISHING BOATS OUT OF THEM . THIS ONE IS TOO NICE TO DO THAT . I WILL GIVE SOMEONE A CHANCE TO DO THE FINAL TOUCHES AND BRING IT BACK TO THE LAKE . THERE ARE PLENTY OF PICS OF RESTORED ONES ON THE NET OR ADD YOUR OWN IDEAS . OLD VINTAGE BOATS ARE STUPID EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO KEEP UP WITH NOT THIS ONE IT IS ALUMINUM CLEAN AND PAINT IT AND THE HULL LOOKS LIKE NEW FOR A LONG TIME . 18 FT MEANS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY OR CRUISING WITH FRIENDS . IT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS A ALUMINUM FLOOR ONLY , AND THEY PAINTED IT BUT IT HAD NO WOOD TO KEEP THE WEIGHT DOWN . IT HAS A UP DATED 12 DIGIT HULL ID NUMBER SO IT WILL NOT NEED A INSPECTION IN MOST STATES . THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THIS BOAT IS YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO LEAVE THE DOCK BECAUSE ALL THE QUESTIONS AND STORIES YOU WILL HERE FROM OTHER PEOPLE LOOKING AT IT. IT IS OLD AND IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY . NO RESERVE IT SELLS !!!!
