My Personal 1993 Ski Nautique is up for auctionThis is a no reserve auction, high bidder wins. Someone WILL win this auction. The market willdecidethe price. I amnot adealer. This is my boat.If you are interested, Ikindly ask that you read this entire listing before proceeding. Pleasebe sure you are comfortable with everything before placing a bid. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have. I am an honest and straightforward person, and I want the buyer to be thrilled with his/her purchase.I am a fastidious mechanical engineer, and take care of my things accordingly. Please see my perfect feedback and bid with confidence. Why am I selling? I don't ski anymore. My body is worn out from all the skiing and barefooting. I love it, but I just can't take the wear and tear any longer. I don't have any kids that would use the boat. It's time to sell it. And someone will get a GREAT DEAL here. Iwill miss my boat and the youthful body that used to enjoy skiing behind it.This has been an excellent boat for me, and should continue to be an excellent boat for someone else. There are many years of good skiing, wake boarding, tubing, and whatever else, left in this fine piece of equipment.
- Engine has 985 hours, give or take a few. It runs like it always has - terrific. I've taken excellent care of the boat, mechanically andotherwise. That goes hand in hand with being an engineer.
- Boat comes with a Correct Craft trailer. It's an excellent trailer. The best, in my opinion. The tongue of the trailer unbolts and folds down for space-saving easier storage during offseason.
- Boat comes with a Bimini top, which I have rarely used, and is not pictured.
- I installed a depth gage, and the readout is installed in the dash. It's included.
- Also included are an anchor, an oar, flares (for safety), horn, fire extinguisher, and a few lifejackets. This is all required to be legal in most states.
- I have a few other odds and ends such as s spare oil filter, etc. I'll include them.
- Boat is equipped with a heater, which I installed. There are two heater tubes under the driver seat. They are retractable. They can both be used by the driver, or one can be shared with a passenger.
- Heater also has a special heater blanket. It's a blanket that has a hookup for the warm air, and circulates that warm air around the user. My wife has LOVED this feature.
- I have used Mobil-1 synthetic oil in the engine, and Mobil-1 synthetic ATF in the transmission.
- I changed the oil and filter, as well as the transmission fluid myself, according to the manufacturer's recommendation. I replaced the steering cable last year. It was getting hard to steer. The steering is now silky smooth. Boy was that apain to do. I've done it for you. it's goodfor years now.
- The steering is similar to power steering, but is rack and pinion style.Easy and smooth.
- I disconnected the speedometers. I calibrated the tachometer to my GPS, so I know how fast I am going by using the RPMs. The speedo gages are still there, and you are welcome to hook them back up if you like. I find them an unreliable pain. But you may like them. The GPS and tach is much better in my opinion. But feel free.
- This boat was never kept in the water. It was on a covered lift for a few years (during season). Now I keep it at a boat club and there is concierge service there. They drop me in when I want to use it, and pull me out when I'm done. So the hull is really in great shape. Unbelievable, really.
- I always winterized the boat myself by adding stabilizer to the fuel prior to the last run of the season, filling the heater and water chambers with environmentally safe antifreeze, and fogging the cylinders with foggingoil. It was always stored indoors during winters.
- Boat was used in afresh water river only. No salt water ever.
- I've never had a serious mechanical problem with this boat. In fact, it's never been in the shop. The engine has never given me any trouble whatsoever, and the boat has never been in an accident. It's been a rock-solid boat - just what you'd expect from Correct Craft.
Questions
What are the hours? HP? Is GPS speed control included? How do I find it on Ebay?
I am interested. Im not sure how he bidding works.
Is $7980 the price for the boat or is that the last persons bid? Would $8000 purchase the boat?
Thank you for your honesty in your descriptions of the boat too. Looks like exactly like what I would like for a second boat next to my Malibu.
