Correct Craft 176

1996 ski nautique 176 185 hours super super clean . Did I mention how clean it was ?:)However its going to need a engine . Boat sat for 6 plus years after a death and cylinders rusted . I purchased it this way , dont really knowing anything about its history . The brother was selling it and his brother that died had no last will and testament. Boat was tied up in the courts for years . All I know is his brother said this boat was his baby ..... After 3 weeks of marvel mystery in the cylinders and trying everything I could to get it free I gave up and tore it down . Pulled the heads and cleaned the cylinders . At that time I did get the engine to break free . However three of theeight cylinders had some pretty serious rust and pitting . I sanded and honed best I could but still pitted pretty good ... At that point I went ahead and put heads and intake back on with New gaskets but at that point I came to the fact that even if it ran it would either have serious blow by or lost compression ....was figuring 10 or 20 over or new block and fresh rings....In the mean time I bought a 2003 210 and this 176 was going to be a project and sold next spring summer. Boat is super clean . clean title in hand . located in Cincinnati Ohio . its a gt40 351 carb
