Cobia VS

I am selling my 1981 18' Cobia Bowrider that has been repowered with a 1996 Volvo Penta 4.3 6Cyl. I/O, everything works. I installed a Kenwood Marine CD/MP3 headunit and 2 marine 6" speakers, sounds great. It also comes with a highlander boat trailer that I just replaced the wheels/tires with brand new galvanized ones. A brand new fuel pump was installed last month, as well as a new water pump. I also put a new starter in at the beginning of the season. She was also fully serviced last month, oil change, lower unit oil change, new spark plugs, new filters, etc. I also installed brand new LED trailer lights about 4 months ago. They were previously bulb ones. I replaced the belts and remachined one of the pulleys because of a squeal that developed. Sounds great now.I've had the boat up to 40mph at 5000rpm, never wanted to push it past that just in case but it will probably go 45mph easy. Fiberglass needs a little work in spots, trailer winch works but the post that it sits on came loose and I reinstalled it with only one center bolt so it doesn't sit as far forward as it should. Easy fix for someone a little mechanically inclined.The engine and outdrive alone is worth $2000+ so this is a great deal. It also comes with a good battery, bimini top, bow snap cover, anchor with chain, oar, bumpers, fire extinguishers, etc. It has the original 1981 cushions/seats but the driver's seat was replaced with a captain's chair so you sit up nice and high while driving.This boat is mostly fresh water used but I have taken it to the gulf twice and to ponce inlet twice. I have always run it in fresh water when I got back.I don't want to sell but I tore the ACL in my knee and have to get surgery. I won't be able to use this boat and I pay for storage space monthly. So, it's time to let it go.Boat is turnkey and ready to go in the water.
