COBALT 262 WSS

For sale is our Extremely rare 2011 COBALT 262 WSS powerboat. This is the Holy Grail of the 262 model. Not only is the WSS (Water Sports Series) a rare model to find, this particular Cobalt is loaded like none other I have ever come across. It was custom ordered with every option available that year from Cobalt. You will not find another 262 optioned like this anywhere. According to Cobalt there were only a couple ever produced in this configuration. The full list is below. It is sitting on a custom OEM premium trailer that IS included with the boat.

We just took it out on Lake Michigan this past weekend and took all these pictures and videos. Below you will find 90 pictures and a few HD videos. This 262 is an amazing cross between luxury, watersports, and performance with seating capacity for 15. It was optioned with the top of the line Volvo Penta 8.1L 496 engine and a Volvo DuoProp outdrive with dual stainless props. Overall it is 27' 7 long with the extended swim platform, and 31 overall sitting on the trailer. It has 94 hours of run time and has always been maintained annually with oil changes, drive services, impellers, etc. It is still under the manufactures 10 year structural warranty until 2022. For the true performance enthusiast this 262 was optioned with the super rare Captain's Call/Silent Choice Performance Exhaust ($4,885 upgrade) At the push of a button, select the exhaust to be completely unrestricted out the transom or through the out-drive into the water for a quiet cruise. There is nothing like the sound of a big block 496 motor through the performance exhaust. It is also equipped with Trim Tabs for the ultimate driving control. ($900 option)

A flush mount, chart plotting color oem Garmin GPS was optioned on this 262. ($1859 option) as well as the gorgeous stainless docking lights option ($1147 option) Upgraded SeaGrass covers the flooring. ($1400 options) and a dinette table easily install for drinks and cards ($750 option)

The 262 WSS has the full Wakeboard Series Tower Package. It includes the rare oem COBALT WSS Wakeboard Tower, a Black Sunbrella WakeTower Bimini Top, dual Stainless Steel rotating Wakeboard Racks, a pair of wakeboard tower speakers and a stainless steel factory wakeboard tower rear-view mirror for all watersports. The Arch tower is FULLY collapsible to windshield height by one person in about a minute. It is also equipped with the optional wake tower lights for evening illumination.

The boat has custom made decking on the rear swim platform and the walk-through. Not only does it look fantastic, but its stain resistant and soft as cotton. It is an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet/shoes when wet. This is the same decking you can option on larger brand new Cobalts and high end vessels. ($1500 add-on) See pics!

Underwater LED lighting below the rear extended swim platform makes for an amazing glowing pool for night swimming and a beautiful glowing afterburner effect when cruising. ($2129 option) Also added were stainless steel led cup-holders for an awesome evening glow. ($600 upgrade) The boat is also optioned with new Cobalt flip down swim step on the rear extended swim platform. Great for getting in and out or to sit in the water. ($1000 option)

The head on this 262 is completely upgraded with options. It has a vacu-flush porcelain toilet ($1836 option) a sink console with fresh water faucet, ($1497 option) and a portal light window ($555 option). It is extremely spacious for a bowrider head, The boat is optioned with BOTH cover options. It has black sun-brella bow and cockpit snap covers ($1200 option) as well as the custom Cobalt WSS full mooring cover. ($1500 option). It has the Cobalt fender clip option with XL bumpers for docking, as well an exterior plug for easy battery maintenance. The boat has an updated premium audio system that sounds fantastic. Bluetooth, USB iPhone/Android ready head unit. New Polk marine, speakers, dual Kenwood Amplifier and a factory Subwoofer, 9 total speakers. A digital Starboard Stereo remote lets the driver control the stereo at the helm and a digital transom remote allows control from the rear. It also has the XM radio option.

The trailer is included with the sale of the boat. It is sitting on a Premium OEM Custom built 2011 Paint Matched Dual Axle Trailer. It is setup with 4 wheel Disc Brakes, Bearing buddies, LED lighting, Diamond Step Plates, Heavy Duty stand, auto tie-downs, covered winch, and Custom Premium Wheels. Brand new tires were installed this past fall. The trailer was $7,000.This COBALT 262 WSS was $150K new. Cobalts current version of the 262 is the R7. If go on Cobalts website and build a new R7 with all the options listed below with a trailer, its over $190K. Many like the 262 looks and layout better at the same length and weight.
