Cobalt 240

For sale is a spectacular 2003 Cobalt 240 Powerboat in the extremely rare Cobalt Pacific Blue gel color. This special boat is loaded with factory options, has low hours, and is in excellent condition throughout. It also has some custom options that you will not see on any other 240 anywhere. It has over $30K of factory options when new. Please read the entire description to truly appreciate this awesome boat.

All pictures were just taken this past weekend on Lake Michigan. The 240 was the predecessor to the 242. It's the same length, width and weight, but with a slightly different, more open layout.This Cobalt is a rare cross between luxury, performance, and water-sports with an amazing layout. It was optioned with an upgraded Mercruiser 377ci 6.2L (320HP) motor and a Bravo3 outdrive with dual stainless counter-rotating propellers. ($4250 option) Overall it is 26' long and sitting on the trailer it is approximately 29 from the back to the front of the trailer. It was optioned with the Extended Swim Platform with quick release ($2485 option) that is designed to easily be removed for storage and drive service without any tools.The boat has 350 hours and it shows through-out as it is in excellent condition. The interior of this boat is spectacular and it shows near new.The flooring was just replaced with Brand New OEM Cobalt Carpet this season. It looks and feels amazing. ($1580 add-on) I would put itup against any Cobalt 10+ years newer. The Blue gel coat shines from front to back and is in excellent condition. This boat has been babied all its life and it clearly shows. It is stored in a heated garage during the winter months and has always had its annual service performed. It is 100% water ready, needing nothing. This boat has to be seen to fully appreciate. You wont find a better equipped 240 or 242 anywhere. It performs masterfully. It navigates choppy waters like Lake Michigan with ease, tracks precisely at any speed, and has the power for anything you throw at it.This 240 is equipped with a FACTORY COBALT STAINLESS Wakeboard Tower Package, including a Pacific Blue Sunbrella WakeTower Bimini Top. ($8,050 option). It also has the optional Wake Tower Speakers, and a Watersports rear view mirror. ($895 option). The Wakeboard tower fully collapses to right in front of the window in less than 2 minutes without tools for storage under a canopy, garage etc.

This Cobalt has a few fantastic

custom add-ons that really set it apart from other Cobalt boats. This

240 has custom made Faux Teak decking on theentire rear of the boat. It is on the walk-through, the upper deck, the

wet locker, and the extended swim platform. It was custom templated and installed this past season.. It

is stain resistant and soft as cotton. It has an anti-slip surface and grips

bare feet/shoes when wet. This is the same decking you can option on new high end boats. This was a

$1600 add on.. See pictures below.

Also added were 4 Blue Ocean LED underwater lights below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an amazing glowing pool for night swimming and a beautiful glowing afterburner effect when cruising. ($2500 add-on)

In addition, all stainless steel LED-lit cup-holders were added for an awesome evening effect. ($600 upgrade) This 240 was optioned with all the Options for Covers. It has both Sunbrella Bow and Cockpit Snap covers,($980 option) as well as a factory full mooring cover. ($965) All the covers are in very good condition. The boat has a good size head (bathroom) with a light, fan and porta-potti. It also makes for a great changing room.

Other options: Swim Platform LED Lighting, Transom stereo remote, Dual Battery Switch, Dual Batteries with tender and port access, Italian leather steering wheel, Air & Water Temperature gauges, Depth Sounder, and all interior LED lighting with Courtesy remote fobs that control the interior lights, as well as the underwater lights. The boat has an upgraded stereo, USB, smartphone ready, Marine Certificated speakers with LED trim rings for an awesome evening effect, a Starboard Stereo remote that lets the driver control the stereo, a Transom Stereo remote for control from the rear, as well as Upgraded Marine tower. We put justover $1500 into the stereo upgrades so it sounds and looks good. Touches of class and quality are everywhere. All stainless steel hardware, hand stitched interior, Italian leather wrapped sport steering wheel and LED lighting throughout the interior. This boat has the greatest stow-away table you will ever find in a Cobalt. It can pop out of the floor and on a stainlesspost for a massive cabin table that's great for food, cards and drinks, or placed in the middle position, with filler insert making a massive lounge couch forsunning and relaxing. This is what made this layout so desirable so desirable. See pics below.The trailer is included with the sale of the boat. It is sitting on a factory paint matched dual axle trailer. It is setup with surge Disc Brakes on both axles, bearing buddies, diamond step plates, matching spare tire, and aluminum wheels. The trailer was $5800.
