Up For Sale is our pristine 2006 Cobalt 232/242 powerboat. This crazy rare Cobalt is Loaded with all the high dollar factory options available, including the 8.1L 496 Volvo Penta motor! The Cobalt 232 from 2006-into 07 is the exact same boat as the 242. Exact hull, exact layout. It was re-badged to the 242 in late 2007. This boat is 26' overall with the swimplatform. This special boat has extremely low hours (188) and shows like new. There isn't a cleaner, better equipped Cobalt anywhere. This Cobalt has been a garage queen it's entire life. Always wiped down and back in the heated garage after each use. Rarely ever docked and has never spent the night in the water. Meticulously maintained and it shows. 100% Freshwater use its entire life. The boat is a sheet of glass from front to back.

It has a Volvo Duo Prop outdrive with stainless counter-rotating propellers that are flawless. This boat performs like no other that I have owned or driven. It handles big water like Lake Michigan with ease and has the power and torque for all watersports. It will effortlessly run to 60 MPH.

For the true big-block performance enthusiast it has the Extremely rare Captain's Call/Silent Choice Corsa Performance Exhaust. This was a $5,000 option. At the flip of a switch select the exhaust to be completely unrestricted out the back or flow through the lower drive into the water for a quiet cruise. There is nothing like the sound of a 496 8.1L motor through the performance exhaust. It will turn heads just idling around the docks.

It has a large factory stainless Bimini top with a Sunbrella canvas. It opens easily and gives a ton of shade to the entire cabin area. It also has the gorgeous stainless steel docking lights option.

It is extremely rare to find a 496 in the 232/42 and near impossible to find a 496 with the Captains Call. This boat is loaded with options. I have included the full list that were added to the base package when new.

We added a few really cool custom add-ons that really set it apart from other boats. It has custom made Faux Teak decking on the rear swim platform and the walk-through. It is a soft, stain resistant padding that has an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet and shoes when wet. This is the same decking you can option on a brand new Cobalt. This was a $1500 add-on. We also had a pair of Underwater LED lights added below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an amazing glowing pool for night swimming and a really cool afterburner effect when cruising. That was an $1100 add-on. Led-lit stainless cup-holders surround the interior for a great evening glow.

The boat has an upgraded stereo head unit, Polk Marine Certificated speakers,(6 total) an amplifier, a helm stereo remote that lets the driver control the stereo while driving, as well as a transom stereo remote to control the music from the rear of the boat.For accessing the motor and rear storage, this boat has the hydraulic power lift hatch option which was $1300.

Other factory options on the boat: Bow filler cushions, stainless docking lights, Swim Platform LED Lighting, Dual Battery Switch, Dual Batteries, Rosewood Trim Package, Air & Water Temperature gauges, and Depth Sounder. The trailer is included with the boat. It is sitting on a custom dual axle trailer made specifically for the boat. It has surge brakes, LED lighting, Diamond Step Plates, aluminum wheels and a break away tongue that folds back for storage. The trailer was $4875.
