For sale one nice 1991 Cobalt Condurre 222

I purchased this boat in 2007 and proceeded to basically rebuild the entire boat and trailer.

Trailer - 2007, I had the trailer frame sandblasted and then re-painted. I replaced both axles. Installed a new stainless surge brake hitch. Re-wired the lights. Installed a new heavy duty stainless winch. Replaced the bunk boards with new treated lumber and recovered and them with new outdoor carpet. Installed new safety cables. Installed new fenders. Replaced all 4 tires with new 8 ply trailer tires. This is basically a new trailer!!!

Boat I am the 4th owner of this boat and apparently the original owner was a Chevrolet Dealer who failed to properly winterize the engine one winter. The engine was subsequently replaced with a new GM 8.1 liter crate engine. I was told it had less than 50 hours on it when I purchased it. I have put less than 40 hours on the boat since I have owned it. The hour meter read 158 hours.

2008, I removed the entire interior and had all vinyl professionally replaced with high quality marine vinyl. Changed the interior colors from light gray and dark gray to off white and beige. Removed all carpet and replaced it with high quality beige marine carpet. Removed and replaced the carpet in the ski locker with black marine carpet. Removed and replaced all gauges with modern black face gauges and added woodgrain veneer to the dash facing. Replaced the steering wheel. Controller replaced. Installed new speakers throughout the boat, now a 6 speaker system. Installed a custom made fiberglass swim platform from swim platforms Inc. This platform totally changed the boating experience with this boat. These platforms are first class and really enhance your boating enjoyment. The platform also has a stainless swim ladder mounted on its underside. I installed stainless hull docking lights. Had a custom made Bimini top built and installed on the boat. Had a custom made full boat cover made for the boat. I also added multiple cup holders and did other tasteful custom modifications to the boat.

2010, due to hitting a log in a lake the entire outdrive had to be rebuilt. All work was professionally done by a local marine shop in Louisville KY. Both props replaced with new stainless steel props. Installed a new modern stereo system with satellite capability.

2011 to 2013, regular maintenance - waxed/detailed every year. This boat is stored indoors in the winter every year. The condition of the vinyl, carpet, boat cover and Bimini top are still in excellent condition.

2014, both batteries replaced.

2015, I have only used this boat a total of 3 times the past 2 summers and feel it is time to let someone else enjoy it. It is truly a great boat and while it is a 1991 it is as nice as any boat on the water. The 8.1 liter engine is very strong and will pull multiple tubes. These Cobalt boats are high quality boats and are very heavy so this boat really sticks in the turns. I am going to get this out of storage today and will wax and detail it for the next owner. It will be ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. I will include 2 Obrien tubes and tow ropes. Several ski jackets will be included with the boat.

I am not even sure how to ship a boat so I will assume that this will be sold as local pick-up.

The NADA price guide at the bottom of this listing is only there for reference. I am pricing this boat below the average price for this boat but I am certain that this boat is way better than the average 1991 Cobalt. Bid with confidence as this is one great boat.
