Cobalt 220

For sale is a one of a kind 2005 Cobalt 220 Powerboat in Beautiful Jet Black with a Silver Boot-stripe. This extremely rare Cobalt 220 is in excellent condition, in and out and is loaded with all the major upgrades that were available from the factory. This rare and special boat also has a couple custom options that you will not see on any other Cobalt 220 Anywhere. Please read the entire description to truly appreciate all this amazing boat has.

This Cobalt is a true cross between Luxury and Performance with seating capacity for 12. It is equipped with the TOP of the line motor upgrade, a VolvoPenta 496 8.1L engine. ($19,750 upgrade) and a Volvo Penta DuoProp setup. (Dual Stainless Steel Propellers). Less than 5% of all 220s ever produced were optioned with the 496 8.1L Big Block motor. The performance is truly exhilarating.

Overall it is 24' long with the extended swim platform. ($2482 option) The Beam is 8'6" This Cobalt has extremely low hours at 146 and it shows through-out. We are the second owners of this amazing boat.

It has always been stored in an indoor facility during the winter months. The interior shows like new and the gel shines beautifully. It has been professionally winterized/summerized each season. This 220 performs like no other boat I have ever been in or owned. It navigates choppy waters with ease, tracks precisely at any speed and has the power and torque to pull multiple wakeboarders/skiers/tubers out of the water effortlessly. With the 496 8.1L motor it will run to 70 MPH in strong fashion with endless Horsepower and Torque. For the true performance enthusiast it is equipped with Captain's Call/Silent Choice Performance Exhaust at the flip of a switch. ($3861 upgrade). Select the exhaust to be completely unrestricted and thru hull, or flip the switch and send it through the out-drive into the water for a quiet cruise. There is NOTHING like the sound of a big block, especially thorough the Captains Call Exhaust. This 220 is also equipped with a Factory Cobalt Stainless Sunbrella Bimini Top ($1508 option).

This 220 also has the gorgeous Stainless Steel Docking Lights option. ($1080 upgrade). It was also optioned to the upgraded High Back Captains Chairs ($775 upgrade).

What makes this Cobalt 220 so rare and sets it apart from all the rest is the way it was ordered/optioned out. You will not find another 220 with the 496 8.1L engine upgrade, Captain's Call performance exhaust, extended swim platform with LED lighting, and the list goes on and on. It also has custom add on options you will not find anywhere.

This 220 has all custom made decking on the ENTIRE rear of the boat. The upper deck, swim platform, wet locker and the walkthrough steps on the boat. It was custom made, cut and installed with custom Cobalt logo designed into the swim platform. It is stain resistant and soft as cotton. It is an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet/shoes when wet. Great to lay on and no more slipping on the decks. Plus is looks amazing. This is the same decking you will find on brand new high end large vessels and yachts. This was a $1500 custom add on that was done this past Season. See pictures below. This 220 also has a pair of underwater Blue LED Puck lights below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an AMAZING glowing pool for night swimming and a beautiful glowing afterburner effect when cruising. ($1000 upgrade). They were just added this past season. (See Pictures)

Touches of class and quality are everywhere. Stainless Steel Cup holders throughout, Italian leather wrapped sport steering wheel and LED lighting throughout the interior.

This 220 was optioned and ordered with all the filler cushion options. (3 pieces) A bow filler cushion to turn the front into a full lounge and both (2) rear walk-through filler cushions turn the rear walk-through into a full bench and a full sun pad. ($885 option).

Other options include the Extended Swim Platform, Swim Platform LED Lighting, Rosewood Dash Upgrade, Air & Water Temperature gauges, and Depth Sounder. Transom Walk through Stereo Remote, Factory Tool Kit, and a Stainless Flagpole Option.

This 220 also has the Premium Audio Package Upgrade. It is equipped with an iPod, iPhone ready, mp3 head unit with USB connect. It has (6) Brand New Polk Audio Premium Marine Certificated speakers. With the premium audio package it has 6 speakers total. 2 bow speakers and 4 cabin speakers. An illuminated Starboard Stereo remote lets the driver control the stereo while driving. It also has the optional Illuminated Transom Walk through remote on the rear platform to control the stereo from the rear deck/swim platform. The audio system sounds great.

The trailer is included with the sale. It is sitting on an all Aluminum 2005 Hi-Tech Premium Dual axle trailer.
