Images of this 1993 Cobalt 198 will speak for themselves. It will be hard to find a boat that has aged this well and has such attractive lines, I hope that you feel the same way.Everything on this boat is original, and I am the second caretaker since it was built in 1993. Items that I have added since it was purchased in 2005 are: dual-battery shut-off switch, custom new dimension wake board tower that folds down for storage, Mako tower speakers, CD/MP3 player and amplifier.The boat has never had any major service issues with the engine or drive unit, and there has never been any damage to the fiberglass or repairs made to the interior. I would be happy to provide you with the marina's that performed routine service to contact for history and information. The boat was stored on a covered boat lift for the first 12 years of it's life at Oak Run in Dahinda, IL. Under my watchful eye the boat was dry docked for a couple of years at East Port Marina in East Peoria, IL, and then spent most remaining summers on the trailer in storage. During every winter it was stored in-doors.The trailer is in great condition as well, and has surge brakes. 4 of the 5 tires are new, and the 5th tire will probably need to be replaced. There is a little damage to the right rear fender on the trailer, which was caused by a flat this summer when transporting from storage to my house for cleaning. All of the lights work, and the trailer requires a 2" ball.For those wake boarders out there, this wide hull creates a very large wake and has a nice steep shape. When I was very active in wake boarding, I could easily clear the wake.
