We are soon to be moving for Job relocating this spring so downsizing and selling multiple items to make move easier, (sold most all other items including pickup etc, boat is last on the list)
**ALL REASONABLE OFFERS ARE CONSIDERED **
We bought this from Lee County Inboard in Plantersville, MS, in 2020. It was a trade-in from the original owner who ordered it built directly from Cobalt in 1988. We are the 2nd owner.
*A very solid boat in exceptional condition and has been mostly garage kept until we bought it. Some upholstery will soon need some attention but is in pretty good condition outside of a couple of random stitching splits, mostly on back seats.
*Note the pics: only 680 actual, accurate running hours on it. 5.7 Litre Mercruiser engine. Stainless steel prop, power tilt and trim. It seats eight comfortably. She planes out beautifully and is very agile in the water.
*There are a couple of scratches on the hull at the front from while bringing out of the lake onto the trailer, two jet skis passed by way to fast and caused it to drift into and make contact with the roller frame. The hull and floor is as solid as the day it was built. Carpet, seat frames and bases, floor deck and "All" teakwood is in excellent condition.
*Here is all the gear that goes with it 1-Approximately 10 different sizes in life jackets (Child - Adult size XXXL) 2- FourDock Bumpers 3-Oar 4-Plenty of new rope 5-Anchor 6-Kneeboard 7-1 Pair of Skis 8-Tow rope 9-2 Person tow tube (Like new, only used one summer) 10-Aair horn 11-First aid kit 12-Fire extinguisher 13-Bimini top 14-All weather cover 15-Multiple float cushions 16-A new butterfly single roller to replace the double roller set up on the trailer (will help make launching and landing much easier). AND:Trailer was completely rewired 2022.
Note:The book price currently is over $8,000 for the boat alone. I have approx. $9,500 in everything, "WAS" asking $7,000 for all, but recent discoveries AND time before we move, and in fairness to the next owner as well, I am offering this available for a fraction.
HERE IS THE MAIN REASON FOR THE PRICE REDUCTION : We were bringing out of storage and going to take out on local waters about a month ago , we hooked up to fresh flush, and start up for overall inspection before taking to the lake.
It started excellent as normal, ran smoothly but then we shut down and checked the oil, (as we always have), we noticed signs of moisture in the oil.
After speaking with dealership mechanic we've reduced the price to a figure that easily allows overall affordable room for repairs whether minor or more. You can have it fresh and ready to take out this upcoming season with total investment still well below book value and is more than priced fair. We don't have the additional time or funds due to relocation schedules to commit to addressing the issue and then make available for sale so OUR LOSS IS DEFINITELY YOUR GAIN!
*Keeping in mind that it DOES start and runs and was only ran for approximately 20 minutes (+/-) then oil was checked (as usual). We did not run it after that so as to not allow it to become a larger issue.
Please communicate with plans for pickup with reasonable advance notice so we can schedule meeting you at the dealership where it is located on consignment.
PLEASE NOTE: This is also posted available through additional local ads. This posting will be canceled upon first buyer meeting our price. Otherwise the auction will run its course and will be awarded to the bet bid at or above the reserve.
A $400 non-refundable deposit will be required within 24 hours of close of auction
This is sold as is with no warranties intended. Please, serious offers and inquiries.
