Cigarette Top Gun 38

1988 38 Top Gun with Hawk motors, forged cranks, rods, pistons, Steel Heads where redone less than 25hrs ago. High rise intakes and Dominator carbs. Dry Gil Exhaust is 1 year old and tailpipes are in great condition. One engine runs fine, other has a bad cam lobe. Boat shows 300 hrs on meters. 72 c Borg warner trans, with bell coolers. very nice cond. also. I have two very clean and tested TRS drives , the org. 2 also go with boat. 4 stainless props. rebuild kits for the rams. Both gimble housings are tight. stainless tie bar. Engine compartment is clean, and all wiring and hoses are ready for engines to go back in. Some extras are battery charger, 2 new batt. pre-oilers for the engines, brass strainers and brass valves for thru hull pick-ups. fireboy is complete. all lighting , hatch ram and switches seem to work fine. Dash is all there, liquid filled speedo, the correct keys, the shifter and throttle cables are smooth. The cabin is a grey leather, full head, plenty of storage , and bed in the front. Seats in the cockpit are in good cond, soft and useable. Rear seat has one seam that is apart. I called a few shops 3500.00 would get you fresh hatch and seats. Trailer is steel , its 5 out of 10, it worked fine to tow it 7 hours , but is ugly. I did put 1200.00 tires and bearings , lights work. It is not rusted thru the main frame , but all the areas where light metal was used is rusted away (see pics) . Have clean title for boat and trailer. Call or email with questions . Over-all the boat is very nice for the year, and the wiring and drivetrain are unmolested. The wood exposed in the transome is dry, the drain plug assembly is out and its dry around there also. Gas tanks are not leaking, I would flush old gas, boat has not been started in 2 seasons. The hull has some dock rash near the water line, I was told it was not repaired correct the 1st time, so some grinding and fill works is needed there.(pics) I have the boat stored at a bodyshop now, so if you needed est. or it fixed I could pass on the number. They have a large paint booth also.
