Chrysler Runabout

Rare, Collectable Chrysler Lonestar Chesapeake 18' fiberglass runabout with original Mercury inline 6cyl 1100 SS with Thunderbolt ignition, in original low hours condition. I am the 3rd owner of this boat. I purchased it from a gentleman that never used the boat. The original owner had several boats, and this one did not see many hours of use, and only in fresh water. It was garaged until the 2nd owner purchased it sadly, who then let it sit under a tree. I brought it home, scrubbed it, and took the engine to the best Mercury Guy in several hundred miles, who went through the engine, cleaned it up, overhauled it and made it purr. As I suspected, and according to the mechanic, this engine has very low hours, and was incredibly clean to begin with. unusual and hard to find a Mercury Tower of Power with few hours. That being said, there is very little on this boat that isn't original, and that isn't in great shape. It would take little cosmetic work to restore this to it's mostly original state. The paint on the floor was mostly gone, so I did paint that, and the seats haven't fared well. The hull is fantastic, the floor is solid, the engine is overhauled and this boat is in usable condition. Includes trailer. Boat is currently registered, trailer is not.
