Mom has sold her lake house and it's time to part ways with our boat.
She's a fine 1970 Chrysler, 16 foot fish and ski boat, with a 115 Mercury, Tower of Power outboard motor. Plus she comes with her trailer too.We just took her out on the lake over Memorial Day weekend and she ran like a charm; likely hit 35 MPH on Mom's small lake...see youtube.com: In the search heading enter: "1970 Chrysler May 2014"We think the boat was originally red, however, someone had painted her white (likely with a roller) before we got her. Up close, it's not the best paint job, but on the water she looks great! She has solid floor, seats and transom. The motor starts easy, runs great and tilt and trim work. She has a bimini top---I think that's what it's called---which snaps to the windshield frame and lowers across the back of the boat. I never figured out how to attach it to the rear of the boat, so I can't say the bimini top is complete. We found that when the top was up, it reduced the overall head space, so we simply preferred to drive her without it up anyway. While anchored for fishing, we would extend the top, attach it to the best of our ability and fish in the shade. She has a small live well near the front of the boat too!She has the cleanest windshield on the lake due to the fact that the glass is missing. Honestly, we really liked the glass gone because the wind would blow in your face while skimming the water rather than blow over the top of the boat and leave you festering in the heat. Her seats show a bit of wear. The tops have a few tears in them, as you should expect with a boat of this age, but the tears are on the top of the seats and do not affect the comfort of the person seated. She is a good boat, ready to go and hit the water. She can anchor for fishing, or tow a 250 lb college football player.
Please see the pictures provided and if you'd like more, let me know. I will also try to add a video of her running around the lake to this listing as well---I'm not sure if I will be able to do that, but I can email it to you if needed.
She is sold "as-is". NO SHIPPING, NO DELIVERY.
Also there is no title as boats were not titled at this point in time, but we will give you a "Bill of Sale". Heck we can even give you the "Bill of Sale" from the previous owner as well.
