Chris Craft Sportsman Series

For Sale is this wonderful old 1961 Chris Craft ski boat. Last year of the all wood decks!This is 1 of 280 produced in 61' I believe this hull is #196 (These old wooden boats are now considered works of art).She is all complete except for the bow pole, chrome with a walnut ball on the tip. These are still available.I purchased this with the intentions of going through her to enjoy and show. However, I've come to the conclusion this is not going to happen anytime soon, hence the reason I'm selling her.Currently not water ready and is in need of attention. She was gone through back in 2004, motor, upholstery, vanishing etc. Presently on her second upholstery, which can now be copied for originality when replaced. She was last in the water in 2007 then went into storage. I purchased it in 2012 (4th. owner) and have had it in covered storage during ownership.Included in the sale, is the original 1960 tandem trailer. I've replaced the axles, bearings, suspension, wheels and tires, including a matching spare.It is road ready but could use any alignment. This trailer has a disconnecting front tongue section (pictured, black leaning against the wall) for easier standard garage fitting. It can also be inserted into a rear receiver for forward pushing into a garage. Think this was a feature not too common back then.Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
