Here is an Awesome 1965 Chris Craft Commander Sportfisherman 38. This boat has been cruising the Great Lakes for 50yrs and ready for another 50yrs. Famous for there thick fiberglass bullet proof hull. 38 foot in length with a 13 foot beam. Beautiful custom woodwork. The only reason Im selling is because I have kids that are entering college and wont have the time for a while. As you can see by the photos it is in great condition with only a little cosmetic work to be done. I had everything major pretty much redone. 2 brand new Mercury 383 stroker engines with only approx. 32 hours each on them now. Brand new Windlass anchor ($5000 installed. just push button and anchor goes down and when ready to go, just push button to pull it up). Rebuilt both transmissions ($4000). Brand new heater / air conditioner ($5000). I pretty much leave it running all summer to keep it cold inside. It has a thermostat. New Garmin 741s (I think) GPS / Chartplotter. Touch screen. Does about everything, fish finder, can hook up to engine to check rpm, gas... I havent hooked up to engine yet. Also can add radar to it. Everything on the boat is working good, microwave, tv, stove, 2 refrigerators. When I bought the boat about 4 yrs ago it had 2 old 350 small blocks in it that were unreliable for me and my family (also very slow). No with the 383 strokers this boat gets up and goes, you could ski behind it if you wanted. And I dont think that is an easy task for a boat so large. Im sure it weighs at least 20,000 lbs.. There is a lot of history on this boat on the internet, just google "feelgood chris wade" and there is a forum with all kinds of history on her. Feelgood was the name of the boat, I took off because was going to change. Chris Wade was a previous owner of this boat and did a ton go great work on it. Hope he doesnt mind me mentioning him, But he is really one of the reasons this boat is still here today. Every time I take this boat I get tons of compliments. The dock that im on at my marina has all $200k plus boats on it and this boat stands out and has pretty much all the same conveniences as theres for a fraction of the price. And this boat will still be cruising the great lakes in 50yrs while most of theres will not. I could go on for ever but feel free to ask questions. It also has a generator. Fresh oil changes for summer and new impellers in generator and both engines. Great family and or fishing boat. I use for salmon fishing a lot. Will sleep 6. The bathroom is also in great condition. This is a boat you will not be disappointed in purchasing.
