He spared no expense...Early 2000s:- Completely disassembled, repaired & restored using West System in early 2000s- Restoration is documented in photos (see written summary in photos)- At that time all original gauges were restored- All chrome & brightwork was re-chromed or polished- Wiring was all replaced- Reupholstered with maroon color- Custom trailer builtLate 2000s:- Varnish & bottom were professionally refinished 2014 by The Wooden Boat Company in Lockhart, TX at a cost of $7,000.00- Reupholstered with green in 2015- Professionally rebuilt motor (HerculesQX straight six Model K), carb, etc. in 2016 (see receipt) Installed by Livingston Marine- Converted to 12 volt & electronic ignitionThe boat had not been run much in the last two years because of my fathers health. The new motor has not been completely broken in - I would estimate the new motor had maybe 2 hour on it.Because the boat has not been run and due to the recent rebuild, I would suggest having the boat serviced before using it.You can see some of the copper bottom paint is chipped on the transom.There is a engine temp gauge and depth gauge my father had installed. He mounted then on a separate piece of wood that is tucked in a storage pocket.
