Chris Craft Ski Boat (Sportsman

1961 Chris Craft 17' Ski Boat all untouched original Tahoe Boat. Never touched and all factory, still in good shape and tight bottom. Boat took 3 days to soak, was used last summer shortly. Rear seats need stitching or repair, varnish is old, bottom paint is old. Trailer is good for local transport but old, not good for long haul. Title of boat is in my name, no title for trailer or plates. Motor is big Chevy 283 I believe and has approx 200 hrs original on her, but tach quit last summer. Runs great and now winterized in my Tahoe location. Can hold it till spring, not an issue as long as boat is paid in full. One time listing and low low reserve just to cover my cost. Need a more practical boat and want this to go to a good home who will love her and restore her back to her as new shape. You can use as is or restore. I don't live full time at my Tahoe location and I don't have photo's of the motor, but original and dusty. Runs good, full serviced, no leaks, starts right up. Boat has full custom made cover, spare new prop, original flag pole/lights and factory Chris Craft flag.The boat was sold new in Tahoe and has always been on the westshore of the lake, not passed around from location to location. I really want this boat to go to family or someone who has the passion to enjoy this boat for many summer to come. Please don't be a broker or a someone trying to resale this fine old craft. Also please note that the trailer is from the mid 1950's and is not modern and will not be a good idea to transport this boat on, it's fine for use from the house to the lake but I do not recommend any long usage out of it. You will have to find a functional good trailer (for an outboard 17' boat with prop and a skag).
