PROJECT BOATThis is your chance to buy a REAL CLASSIC for little money. He has the pink slip.My husband bought this a few years ago. He started the restoration by taking it apart due to age and water damage. Well, time slips away and old age creeps in. It has become clear that he will never get to it. He gives up (although he really does want to do it) and I want this thing out of here. Includes trailer but it's in rough shape. He had it shipped here on a flat bed via Uship . It cost around $200.00 to ship it 125 miles. From the SF Bay Area to a very rural area in the Sierra Mts.It's mahogany but the hull is fiberglassed from the waterline down.He says the engine, although no actually inside the boat, is not frozen because it turns. He doesn't know if will start or not because the distributor is no good.As you can see from the pictures, it's in probably over 100 pieces. We have kept each and every one inside, warm and dry.I strongly encourage the buyer to come up and have a look before making a decision. When it's sold we will put all those pieces inside of the boat for shipping, but I don't want to do that until you have a chance to look at it.I personally know that one piece of glass shattered and will not be included as I threw out the tiny shards.It certainly does not look as good as it did when he bought it, but he has done a lot of work on the hull and all around the outside. He has replaced boards in a professional manner and made new boards to go across the hull. Each one being unique.The first 2 pictures you see were taken the day we bought it. It does not look like that now.I have included some pictures but I will be more than happy to take more if it will expedite the removal of this "treasure".
