I purchased this Sea Skiff off classifieds board in 2002 from Wolfboro NH, It was sold new at Irwin Marine and has a brass tag on the cuddy door stating that. The previous owner had the original Chris Craft K 6 cylinder replaced with a 350 Chevrolet at the same marina that painted the hull and done some other work on the boat for him. It came with a new single axle trailer that did not fit so I had a custom Moonshine brand trailer built for it. We have used this boat a lot in the 18 years we have owned it up until the last 2 or 3 and have been so busy with life it has spent most of the time in the barn so its time to go. We have done river cruises, hauled it to Mt Dora Florida to the ACBS boat show, and to many area lakes with our wood boat chapter outings. This is a great river cruiser and the chevrolet engine with pertronix electronic ignition never let us down and has more than enough power to pull adult skiers including me many times and a tube with the grandchildren. It is a user boat that could use the hullsides painted and the transom and gunwales varnished. A few years ago we had a storm come through and blew down a really large tree that fell on the barn that the boat was in, the small amount of damage done to the boat was a couple of small holes poked in the rear deck and the top rails/gunwales? on the sides of them have some damage to the edges and to make things right will need to be replaced which would be fairly easy as they are just stapled on best I can tell. Or you can continue to use it as is. The bottom has never been refastened as far as I can tell so it leaks a little but nothing the bilge pump cant handle. I installed a depth gauge for our river cruising but have not used it in a few years but assume it to still work. Also installed a new propeller shaft a few years ago and had the gauges restored, chrome redone, and it comes with a great top and side curtains along with a complete rear top that zips onto the front top and snaps around the rear. It has a porta potty that fastens in the cuddy floor. It also comes with the front and rear flags/light pole that complete the classic look. Overall this is a great boat that gets admiration everywhere it goes and I hate to see it go but I have a small aluminum cruiser waiting for my attention. Clear title in hand that says its a 1954, I have the hull card somewhere that shows it was built sometime in 1955. Also has 5 dark red cushions and a aluminum or stainless fuel tank that was added before I purchased it that I think it the same 32 gallon as the original.

Questions
Is this for sale? I’m in Connecticut. It would be kept in salt water on mooring. Will it swell up and reduce leaking? Nice to bring it back to NE
If still available I would be very interested in discussing with you.
Please let me know one way or the other.
Thanks
