Chris Craft Runabout

You are bidding on a Beautifully restored 1952 Christ Craft 17ft Runabout. My business partner and I have owned this boat for over 25 years. We have been slowly restoring it over the last 15 years. As you can see by the pictures it was completely stripped down to the bare hull and completely refurbished with the correct Marine quality epoxy paint sealers and varnish. The engine is a completely rebuilt 351 Cleveland motor that was balanced and blue printed by the builder. It is mated to a two speed Stokes transmission with reverse. All of the interior wood is new mahogany with marine grade stainless steel fasteners. The upholstery is all new including foam and marine grade vinyl coverings. We had a professional boat builder wire the boat , install the new carpet, and rig the boat for service. At this point in time we have yet to take it out and enjoy it. We have invested a lot of time and money on this wonderful classic but our priorities have changed and are ready to let the new buyer enjoy it's grandeur!

We have kept great notes and records including a complete picture album showing the restoration from day one.
