Chris Craft Racing Runabout

Vintage Rare 1951 Chris Craft Famous Mahogany Racing Runabout Project Boat...This is one the last unrestored mahogany racers...Racers are very desirable low sleek long deck models...Chris Craft's sports boat of the line up... I've had the boat for 20 years and just don't have time to restore it...Started restoring it when I first found it, removed the bottom and made a few new frames...I think the sides are saveable, especially if you skin the boat with 3/16 ply, state of the art construction. Pretty much needs everything else. Have patterns for parts...Comes with all hardware, anything not there would be minor...A temporary bottom has been installed and bracing for trailing...Choice of either a Chris Craft 6 cylinder ML, MBl, or MCl rebuildable engine...Restored racer's sale prices have been moving up and are in the 50,000- 60,000.00 range... The inital cost is higher but the restored price more than compensates for it...Boat is locate near Detroit...Used trailer available...Also for sale locally, bid and you will own it...Being sold as is, where is, without any warrenty...Thanks
