Chris Craft Racing Runabout

Chris Craft 19' Rare Famous 1951 Racing Runabout Project Boat....I've had this racer for over 20 years in my basement, don't have time to restore it....Racers feature a very sleek look with a long front deck and low freeboard, the sports car of Chris Crafts...One of the top collectable models that sell near 60,000.00 with quality restoration....Was sold to a family in Michigan that owned Federal Departments Stores and delivered to Pine lake....This is hull number 321, with patterns, hardware, and engine... Needs bottom, decks, transom, but the hardest work, the sides are in good condition saving thousands of dollars in labor and adding to originality... I started restoration on the boat, stripped it, started replacing frames, stringers...May not look great, but there are boats that have a finish and look decent with short, mis-matched, cracked, scared planks and when it goes in the shop, you end up just having bought some frames, hardware and engine...This boat you know what your buying...Boat with old brass screws vs a glued boat, epoxy or 5200, no comparison.....This boat is ready to be restored with state of the art techniques....Why invest in an old boat with problems....I notice buyers that buy projects in the 2-5000.00 range and when done are worth 20-30,000.00, not very good pay for a similar amount of work...Will need new fuel tank..MBL 158 hp engine condition is unknown but looks decent and turns over....Email any questions.....Thanks
