Needs a complete restoration. I think this is a 1968 Ply wood 26 foot Futura? I called Chris Craft and the guy wasn't very helpful with the numbers I gave him. Was told engine was overhauled/rebuilt, can't confirm one way or the other. Boat has holes, been sitting for years, neglected. I do not know very much about this Boat, and do not vouch for anything about it. What you see is what you get.

I do not know anything about this boat. I know it is a Chris Craft. I know it's a Ply wood Boat, and not the Mahogany. It needs lot's of work. Has an engine. Was told engine was overhauled, can't confirm if it was or wasn't. Has 2 big holes, been sitting and been neglected for a long time. Need it out of my storage space. Has a trailer to go with the Boat. It is a pretty Boat despite its dilapidated condition. Was on the phone with Chris Craft parts and read them the number on the back of the engine compartment cover (VXO-26-0108W) but it didn't register anything with the guy other than he thought maybe the Boat was a 26 foot 1968 Futura? Not sure how to spell that. You Boat experts will know exactly what this is. There is a number right above the propeller that reads VX 0 108...not sure if this tells you anything. I took a video of the boat which is on Youtube...can't put the link here because of classifieds board rules and regulations, but I can tell you where to go to watch the video that might shed a little more light on this Boat. I will have the two tires on the trailer fixed in time for the winning bidder to haul the Boat to where ever. I will not answer any technical questions BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW. I don't know if it's the right motor. I don't know if the transmission works. I don't know how big the motor is, etc, etc....so don't ask me. This is a no return auction, so you are assuming every risk imaginable with this Boat. I don't know if motor is seized, etc, etc. This is a complete project for some kind of a Chris Craft restoration expert. It's time for one of you Boat guys to Gamble. Good Luck. You are responsible for getting it out of my storage place. I need all the money before I release the Boat. I have no paper work on the Boat. You will have to live with a bill of sale. That's all I know or got on this Boat. Oh, and if the video I can direct you to and these pics are not enough, I have a few more pics I can email you....they are only allowing me 24 pics here, but I have probably 36 photo's.
