Chris Craft MFG Caprice Royal

A1979 hull MFG Chris Craft open bow runabout. The upholstery was in nice shape until past year and half. I bought this from a old man to help him out financially. I went to look at cabinets and shelving and this was next to his garage. He had a death of his Vietnam vet roommate and was overwhelmed with grief. His health is also very poor. Hes a vet too and he actually had 2020 Ohio boat inspection in it but his health is failing. He bought it from 2017 from ORIGINAL OWNER. The boat looked great from pictures I saw when he bought it in 2017, but, his health failed and did not have money to buy cover last year. The hull is still in incredible condition except a small non outside structure where it looks like bow seating area someone cracked edge of open seat hole. Its been fixed not pretty but solid. Can be finished better to look original. The v hull is incredibly clean and very little wear in v in front. No patches no waves or bubbles in outer hull. The transom looks and feels solid see pictures. Floor is firm no soft spots. The seats dry rotten and wood bases. Front rear seating is cheap to replace and you have a great boat. Gel coat is easy to polish to bright shine. Evinrude 85 motor saltwater model per my local Evinrude dealer. Look at pictures you will see what great non corrosion motor. Evinrude throttle as well. Manual trim ae picsI was going to get it serviced and play this year but I live alone and have very little spare time. So. Try your luck buy it as is and have a real quality boat motor and trailer on the cheap! I bought 2 new tires car tires but new. I took off wheels at guys house and went and bought 2 new car tires. Not trailer. But I got it home safe. Tires are fine to haul. the project was to help this guy in a time of need so I and several hours just cleaning it. It looks really good except seats are junk.Have marine battery. Bumpers too.Look at pics. I can send more detail shots. Title of boat and Evinrude 1977 motor in hand.
