This boat was totally restored 1 year ago. New West system bottom, all bottom boards and side planks rescrewed with stainless steel screws, all wood was professionally stripped down stained and varnished with 10 coats of captains varnish, blocked between all coats. The vinyl seats had been redone 3 years ago and are still in good shape, I did have them cleaned and protected. I do not think that the seat color is original, I think original is a black and green alligator vinyl. The original 283 engine was totally rebuilt, all new parts and the cooling intake parts were replaced with original parts. New bilge pump installed. The inside frame was all repainted with original brown paint and all stringers checked. The kick board is not original, but installed to hide all the workings and provide storage. All of the vinyl flooring was replaced with the original type flooring, with new stainless strips and all new floor boards. Transmission rebuilt and all linkage replaced with original. Goes in and out of gear easily. All chrome is spotless and has the original UFO stern light and bow light. They have not been rechromed, they show a little wear but still look awesome for original. The dash is all original, it looks perfect and works. The windshield is perfect, it has no cracks or fading. The steering wheel is the original with no cracks. This boat starts easily, runs strong and is fun to use. It sits on a very nice trailer that has been set up for this boat. It launches very easily. The style of this boat is nice, as you are able to walk around inside the boat, not trapped in a cockpit. This boat is in excellent condition. It will not win best of show at the top boat show, but it will turn heads and get many compliments. It is a fun boat to use and we have. I would say we have put 25 hours on it since restoration so we know it is solid. I am selling this boat because I do enjoy restoration projects and have found another boat that is calling my name for restoration. I will be glad to give you the names of the companies that did much of the work for me to answer any questions you have regarding the work on the boat. No warranty.
