This is my 1960 20' Chris Craft Continental. I bought it about 15 years ago with the intention to restore it for myself from a guy who also intended to restore it for himself . WellI have been really busy at work (I restore vintage boats for a living you know the shoe maker's shoes story:)All I have done since buying this boat is keep it in indoor storage just as is had been for at least ten years prior to me getting it. It does not have a trailer but it does sit on a steelcradle with casters. There were 96 of these boats built according to the Chris Craft essential guide. Its 283 Chris Craft engine is not in the boat currently and is in a crate somewhat dissembled (as I recived it) My thoughts were to upgrade its engine to the more desirable 431 Lincolin as part of the restoration.

Before I got the boat someone had installed a new white oak stem and the planking had never been completely reinstalled to it as you can see in the pictures . I cant find any rotten wood on the boat anywhere but I would still recommend performing some bottom restoration to keep the boat water tight. The hull side planking is in pretty good condition with some minor bumps andbruises. The moulded windshield paines are in very good condition. This is a very restorable project boat .
Feel free to ask any questions.
