Chris Craft Continental

This listing is for a 1956 Chris-Craft Continental, on a 2004 DHM Trailer (trailer is excellent condition).Nicknamed "Tyto Alba" which means barn owl, this boat was found in a barn and restored back to working order in 2003. However, since its restoration it has seen little use in the last 15 years. It has been in in-door garage storage and covered, but not been operated, therefore it does need a little work (see images.)There are some minor areas where the trim needs a little TLC. It was reupholstered in 2003 and hasn't seen the sun for more than a few days since.The boat ran great the last time it was used, but it needs a mechanic to tune up the motor, and change the gas/fluids before use. These boats also need to soak for a period of time (often several days) to become water ready.This boat draws a lot of attention and is a treasure. We would love to see this boat go to a good home.This boat is sold as is.
