Chris Craft Constellation

Antique wooden Boat1958 Chris Craft Constellation 42'. It is unique with a 'bullnose' rounded bow. It is double planked and there are extensive restorations over the years including new prop shafts. Completely rewired with blue seas electrical 110v panel and seperate 12v panel. New battery switches. The generator kohler new in 2006. The canvas was new in 2007 but needs repair or a new one. Swim platform has custom made chrome brackets. Radar raymarine radome, c80 montior is missing but the marina may replace. All systems have not been turned on since stored in 2014. I have not started, nor am I interested in launch other than selling and moving it asap. Bring offers.. This was my passion since 2001 with an open check book. I have over 100k into it and want to move on. Needs, some interior carpentry, exterior epoxy, fillers and fiberglass. Expect to spend 5k -10k and some varnish time to be launch ready.The two inboard engines are Chrysler 383's , '06 Kohler Generator, steering needs to be lubed, throttles need to be lubed. Co2 system checked over. The bottom was cleaned and painted in 2015. Owner is relocating now and ready to sell.Starboard engine was rebuild in 2008 and only has about 100 hours on it.Update: I am starting to do some paint and varnish prep and spend some time on the boat. After this auction, If I spend my summer and money to get to launch ready and list with a broker as is being recommended to me. The price will be 47,500.00 and I will sell another season. For timing reasons, I prefer to sell as is for the buy it now price of 28,500 to a capable and good steward of this vessel.This is being relisted as a previous winner did not respond after a buy it now bid.
