Chris Craft Cockpit Forward

This is a very good example of a nice daily driver Chris Craft. There are good and bad points to the boat. The good is that it is turn key and runs excellent. It looks very nice and is easy to use. The bad is that there is some cracking on a few planks they have been there for years. Since these boats are not my area of expertise I am not sure if the interior which has been redone is correct or not. The motor runs excellent. At some point it has been rebuilt there are .040 pistons and the valves have been replaced There are no oil leaks. I am not sure of the serial number on the boat but if you know anything about this model in 1935 and 1936 there were only 282 made. The boat is great for a small lake and is easily to trailer. There is a trailer but for a long haul it would need new tires etc. I have had it about 8 years and have used it on and off. It is in the water with a full cover on it that was made for the boat specifically. The price is negotiable but not by much. I am asking what I am and not 35 thousand as it is not a perfect show boat. This is an easy restoration as the boat is not very big. It can be used for the next few years without doing anything. There are a few spots where the varnish is thin but it has been that way for as long as I have owned it. I am being honest to avoid wasting both my time and someone else's. The bottom soaks up in a few days to where you can leave the boat in the water. I am not in desperate need to sell the boat so do not waste my time with low ball offers regardless of what you think it is worth. The boat can be water tested at my marina in CT.
