This classic wooden boat was restored by the prior owner. He stripped it down to the ribs, put a new motor in her, planked,and varnished the boat. His varnish job was not on a professional level, so it would be a beauty with a new varnish. There's very little chrome on the boat, maybe a dozen pieces, that need a refinish. A fully refinished boat cost thousand more, so this is a great value. The engine runs great. I had professional mechanic go through it.The boat and trailer are registered in California with a clear title. The trailer just had the bearings repacked. The two rear tires are good. The spare is rusted. The trailer works fine.

1959 18' Chris-Craft Cavalier- This is a classic Chris-Craft that is ready to add fuel and get boating. Most Cavaliers are much smaller than this model, so it offers a very comfortable cockpit for cruising. The freshly rebuilt 283 only has 40 hours on it, and runs without issue. The boat was recently restored with new decks, stain and varnish. Her shaft log and rudder stuffing box were re-packed, and she does not leak. The Cavaliers are not the traditional caravelle planked boats most remember, they are a plywood veneer construction which offers both strength and light weight...so they are quite fast. The gentleman that owns this boat is getting up in years and is not able to boat anymore. His family is not interested in the boat and want a pontoon instead (huh? what's that all about?). Yep, I know. It comes with an older, yet good condition and recently serviced single-axle trailer. This is a good opportunity to get into classic boating without incurring the cost of restoration or paying a much higher price for a professionally restored model.
