Chris Craft Cavalier

1955 Chris Craft Cavalier Extensive restoration includes much of the wood replaced with marine grade meranti plywood on the top, sides and hull with a beautiful ribbon striped sapele veneer on top. Both bow and hull framing was completely rebuilt along with seat frames with white oak and much more. The exterior has 8 coats of varnish that were wet sanded flat in between each coat to give it a very high gloss and luster. Engine was completely overhauled in 2009 and not installed until 2014 and has less than 15 - 20 hours run time on it. The interior / seats are red vinyl and it is like new condition with one small minor scrape on the front seat. All the materials used are of high quality and recommend for proper restoration. This boat runs and shows very well and has all the paperwork to outline the repairs. This will include the paperwork from the Christ Craft Archival Collection from the Mariners Museum and the Certificate of Marine Survey with a state value of $ 36,000. The Yacht Club trailer ( included ) is a single axle, like new ties and is in very good condition.
