For sale is a very original and pristinely preserved 1955 Chris-Craft Caribbean model Kit Boat. This fine example of Chris-Craft's build-your-own kits is just under 14 feet in length and is solidly built with plywood-on-frame construction. With a layer of fiberglass sealing and protecting the bottom, the boat is ready to splash into any lake any time for a quiet day of fishing or just crusing around. The bottom and hull sides have just received fresh coats of paint and all the mahogany-stained interior has be revarnished. The boat is powered by a running 1952 Evinrude 14-horsepower Fastwin two-cylinder, two-stroke engine with a new water pumpimpeller and a carburetor rebuild just completed. Professionally worked on and water tested. This boat was donated to the Wooden Boat Association of North Texas by its second owner, whose uncle was its first owner. Garage kept its entire life, the boat is probably the best preserved Chris-Craft Kit Boat out there. The rig includes an 80s vintage Concho single-axle trailer with good rubber and a spare.
