Do you love wooden boats?
Need more space for family and friends?
Interested in overnighting, weekending, or even summer live-aboard in a true Classic Chris?
Heres a rare opportunity for someone who already knows their way around wooden boats to move up into a really, really nice 40 foot 67 Chris Craft Connie. This is definitely not a project. The boat just needs regular maintenance and repair to keep serving a new owner in a really lovely classic family cruiser. After 33 years, it is now time for me to pass the baton to another keen wooden boat enthusiast, to carry on using and enjoying this fine piece of workmanship. Under the stewardship and maintenance of a caring, capable new owner, there is no reason this machine cant serve for another 50 years.
In the early 90s this boat was taken apart to the decks, repaired, and re-assembled using modern Sikaflex at the deck, toerail and house-deck seams. Original oil-based sealants were replaced with modern materials where it matters. It has been an outdoor boat for the last 25 years. Its not a dock queen needing covered slips or super-special treatment. The boat interior has also been re-finished.
Stored inside for winter season, it is in excellent condition, currently lying in Georgian Bay, but this very capable and comfortable yacht has been cruised extensively from the North Channel to Lake Champlain to the Thousand Islands.
The boat comes with technical support, technique-sharing, some spares and supplies.
