This is a stunning 1936 Chris Craft Deluxe cockpit forward runabout, in Bristol condition. It is being sold, on behalf of the owner, by the New Hampshire Boat Museum. Boat is complete and ready to go.Boat: New 3M 5200 no-soak/no leak bottom, new sides, deck, and interior paneling. New upholstery. New wiring. Restored original instruments, parts newly chromed, new steering wheel. Excellent boat cover. The boat was originally purchased for use on Squam Lake in New Hampshire and was purchased by its current owner in 2004 who finished the total restoration in 2011. It was an award winner at a recent Meredith, NH classic boat show. Owner has all documentation as obtained from the Mariner's Museum in Virginia including Chris Craft brochures, owner's manuals, Model B motor repair manuals etc. 6-volt electrical system.Motor: The original 1936 motor was not restorable so the owner found a replacement motor of the same model and vintage. Replacement is a 1948 Chris Craft model B, number 27083, restored by the Dubie Brothers in 2004. It is a 4 cylinder 60 hp motor in excellent condition. Full repair records are included.Trailer: Load Rite, 2006, in excellent conditionPick up in Wolfeboro, NH at the New Hampshire Boat Museum. Owner will allow buyer to drive the boat before final payment is made, but final payment will be only dependent upon the drive. Deposit of $750 by PayPal and balance due in cash at pick up. Other payments may be acceptable to the seller. Buyer can make arrangements for shipping but full payment must be made and cleared before boat is released.
